Forks and Extensions Sleeves
All forks supplied by us are made from Carbon/Boron steel. All forks are made from a single forging, the heel of the fork is formed by a bend and upset process, which guarantees the optimum grain flow.
The hangers are welded onto formed section using CO2/Argon shield. The complete fork is then fully hardened under strict control. The hangers and heels of all forks are 100% crack detected using magnetic particle testing. All batches of forks are hardness checked. We offer the fullest range of forks ex-stock. All sizes and capacities suitable for all trucks from 1 ton up to 52 tons. From class 1A to 4A, plus large stocks of preformed blanks, suitable for all types of bar, din or bolt on, up to 96” length. All forks supplied by us come complete with a certificate of conformity as standard. We offer express manufacture/despatch on any forks made from current stock section within 10 working days. Normal 2/3 day, 2 day, next day and next day a.m. services are available on all ex-stock. All forks have a 3-1 safety factor.
